St George at the U.N.

I have always been fascinated by the size and subject of this sculpture in the park at the U.N
A few weeks ago it was wrapped. I am not a fan of Christo but I must say it looked great. I wish I had a camera when I had seen it at that time. Today I sketched this quickly from a distance across 47th street.

Drawings at the ASL

I was enrolled in a painting class at the ASL. After 6 days and several frustrating attempts at a painting I gave up. It just doesn't feel right to me to be painting there right now. On my last evening I did these sketches while waiting to get my things from my rented locker.
